Modular Hardwall Cleanroom

Modular quick connect system, with UL listed components, conforming to National Electric Codes. This system is made up of pre-wired connections for light switches, 115v outlets and whips for lights and fan powered Hepas. Electrical run terminates with a "pig-tail" at location designated by the customer and can carry up to 6 circuits to be installed in distribution electrical panels. Final installation of the panel(s) and power to the building is to be installed by a licensed electrician. Outlets are convenience type duplex, three wires, and grounded. Single and 3-way switches are standard. The snap together system limits duplex outlets to 115v. A 277v system is available for lights and fan powered filters, but wall switches will need to be wired on site by a licensed electrician.

A rough-in electrical package is also available that includes junction boxes with EMT conduit preinstalled in the wall panels for outlets, data/phone and light switches. A 115 or 277v quick connect system for the lights and fan powered Hepas is available. Wiring in boxes and the quick connect system is not included and requires connections to be preformed by a licensed electrician.

Unless other wise specified, roof decking, I-beams and support post will be designed for 20-25 lbs. per square foot loads (live load walk-able). Loads of up to 60+lbs and greater are also available. Rooms can be have clear spans of 45+' and can also be designed as an interregnal part of a mezzanine.
Steel roof deck is at least 22 gauge corrugated steel, fire rating is noncombustible, sound deadening with closure gaskets (STC 32). Support posts and I-beams will vary in size based on span and load bearing requirements. Seismic bracing and stamped drawings are available when required.

The Cleanroom ceiling grid system is commonly used in the cleanroom, pharmaceutical, and hospital industries. Standard finish is white powder coat or clear satin anodized aluminum. Each member of the grid system comes pre-gasketed with a flexible closed cell polyethylene foam, white in color and is chemical resistance. Other grid sizes, specialty finishes and gaskets are available. Base bids include the 1 ½” face, powder coated white to support ceiling tiles, lights and HEPA filter. Grid is supported by heavy duty hanger wire recommended at least 4’ on center. Installation is simplified with a clip assembly requiring no special tools for the attachment of grid components. Grid pattern allows for a wide selection of module sizes from 1x2, 1x4, 2'x 2', 2'x 4' or 4'x 4'.

Standard cleanroom ceiling tiles are ½” sheetrock core with a vinyl covered face on one side. Other styles and materials of construction are available; Press board or Honeycomb cores, Painted Steel or Aluminum or Plastic Laminate.
